The 55th Annual Desert Safari:
Taking place March 3rd to March 5th, the 55th Annual Desert Safari is hosted in Truckhaven Hills, California. The name of the location alone is enough to make most off-roaders salivate, but just wait until you see what’s instore for participants. Hosted by the Tierra Del Sol Four Wheel Drive Club of San Diego, this event provides fun for the whole family. Beautiful views along the driving trails set the stage for a full weekend of camping, driving, and hard-core excitement. The Annual Desert Safari is the longest running event of this kind held within the United States, having been in action for more than 60 years.
Those in attendance not only get to participate in the fun of off-road driving, but can take part in food and merchandise from several well-known vendors, and enter to win the weekend raffle with more than $150,000 in prize money.
Trucks Gone Wild:
Georgia Mud Fest in Moutrie, Georgia is one of the many homes to Trucks Gone Wild this year from April 7th to April 9th. The event takes place at various times throughout many states, but the Georgie Mud Fest is already shaping up to be one of the most adventure filled events of the year. The 8th Annual Badlands Jeep Jamboree:
Hosted from June 1st to June 3rd in Attica, Indiana, this is the place to be for Jeep lovers across the United States. The Jamboree is a family friendly activity with guides, good food, friendly faces, and plenty of fun. Family passes are available to bring down costs for those in groups of 4 or more, and the Jamboree website offers a list of nearby accommodations. This includes major campsites, motels, hotels, and bed and breakfasts in the area.

Carlisle Chevrolet Nationals:
Held in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, the Carlisle Chevrolet Nationals is hosted by Carlisle Events from June 23rd to June 25th. The weekend includes part and vehicle shopping opportunities, activities for families of all ages, indoor displays, guest performances and speakers, a children’s play area, GM car corral, and plenty of prizes. Not as grand in scale as some of the afore mentioned events, this one is perfect for local car and truck enthusiasts looking for good deals, family fun, and weekend entertainment.
Lucas Oil Off Road Expo:
Visit Pomona, CA this fall to take part in the Lucas Oil Off Road Expo. On September 30th and October 1st, you can hang out with 73,000 other off-road lovers, check out 350 different exhibitors, and watch hours of heart racing, mind numbing off-road action. From races to rock climbers, this event has a little bit of everything for the truck lovers across the U.S. Prizes, celebrity appearances, and live music wraps up this event to make it something that everybody in the family can thoroughly enjoy.
Off-road ride alongs and a pro-racer meet and greet makes this one off-road event that stands out above others in its class.
